RVYC goes to Beijing!

Several members of the Canadian Sailing Team have their home base at RVYC.

Qualifications were ongoing for most classes over the last several months to firm up which team members will be representing Canada at the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in Beijing. RVYC has four members going: Ben Remocker (49er), Nikola Girke (RS:X Women), Zac Plavsic (RS:X Men), and Mike Leigh (Laser). Of the four, Nikola is the only one with previous experience at an Olympic event, competing in the 470 at the Athens Games. All the best to the team as they continue their Olympic preparations!
