Women of RVYC

Women of Royal Vancouver Yacht Club Executive Committee

The Women's Committee, now referred to as Women of Royal Vancouver Yacht Club (WRVYC), was formed in 1980 to encourage friendships, to enrich our knowledge of the Club, and to promote participation by all women members of the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club in all the activities and functions of the club.

We meet on the third Tuesday of each month (except June, July, August, and December) for a casual dinner in the Marine Lounge (18:00), followed by a guest speaker (19:30).  Guests of WRVYC members are welcome. Pre-registration is requested.

WRVYC organizes and sponsors several functions:
* Family Christmas Brunch with Santa
* First Aid Courses
* Gala Dinner and Fashion Show
* Marine Radio Operators Courses
* New Members’ Welcome Party
* Presentation of Mary Light Trophy
