Proposed Coal Harbour Marina Expansion Project
Proposed Coal Harbour Expansion Project details

Welcome to RVYC's Coal Harbour Marina Expansion Project.
The RVYC Coal Harbour Marina is situated within Coal Harbour at 950 Stanley Park Drive, immediately to the west of Deadman’s Island and east of the Vancouver Rowing Club. Stanley Park is immediately north of the marina.

The purpose of the proposed project is to retrofit, improve, and expand the existing marina. The proposed project would expand the marina from 326 to 372 slips to accommodate a net addition of 41. 37 boat sheds would be removed and replaced with new boat sheds of the same design specifications with no net increase in the boat shed numbers on site. Docks are to be replaced and/or repositioned, 89 creosote piles are to be removed and disposed of and 24 cylindrical steel piles are to be removed and reused. An additional 110 new steel piles will be installed during the proposed project. The existing water lot lease is proposed to increase by 13.3% to accommodate the expansion. The total project area is approximately 76,930 m2 which includes the water lot expansion area of 9,040 m2.
