Proposed Coal Harbour Marina Expansion Project
Proposed Coal Harbour Expansion Project details

Welcome to RVYC's Coal Harbour Marina Expansion Project.
The RVYC Coal Harbour Marina is situated within Coal Harbour at 950 Stanley Park Drive, immediately to the west of Deadman’s Island and east of the Vancouver Rowing Club. Stanley Park is immediately north of the marina.

The purpose of the proposed project is to expand, retrofit, and improve the existing marina. The proposed project would expand the marina by 13.3% and see an additional 47 slips installed. 37 boat sheds would be removed, replaced, and relocated with new boat sheds of the same design specifications with no net increase in the boat shed numbers on site. Floats and fingers are to be replaced and/or repositioned, 85 creosote and 23 H steel piles are to be removed and disposed of and 24 cylindrical steel piles are to be removed and reused. An additional 129 new steel piles (including the aforementioned 24 cylindrical piles) will be installed during the proposed project. The total project area is approximately 76,930 m2 which includes the water lot expansion area of 9,040 m2.

A permit application has been submitted to the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and has been deemed complete. Application documents are listed below and are also available on the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority
website.
