Race Committee

Royal Vancouver Yacht Club has a long tradition of sailing and racing excellence. Since its founding in 1903, members of RVYC have won Olympic medals and raced in all corners of the globe. Wide recognition of our race management capabilities have enabled our Fleet Captains and sailors of influence to attract national and international championship regattas, the Six Metre Worlds in 2017, the Star North Americans in 2023.

The success of our racing program would not be possible without the support of dedicated members and volunteers from the broader sailing community. Volunteering for the Race Committee is a great way to get involved with one of the club's most interesting activities, meet new people, watch your kids develop, learn more about racing, and get acquainted with the club if you’re hoping to apply for membership.
