The island has 1,200 feet of dock space, limited trails (please keep pets leashed at all times and remove all droppings), a gazebo-style pavilion, covered on-dock barbecue (contact Chris Barnett if briquette supply becomes low), horseshoe pit, 4 kayaks, and washrooms. Excellent fishing, swimming, windsurfing, and crabbing are a few of the highlights of a stop-off here. A safe haven when the Gulf is heaving. No shore power. A NOTE OF CAUTION - a drying reef is located just off the east shore. There is no shore power. There is no Station Manager; the membership work together as informal caretakers and advise the Mayor or the Marine Asset Manager if anything is amiss.

      3) Report any damage, misuse, or potential problems to the Mayor or the Captain Offshore Stations as soon as possible.

      4) Members who use the designated barbecue area must have a full bucket of water available at all times and ensure that embers are completely extinguished before leaving. Extra care must be used to avoid sparks as the island can be very dry.
